Due to the success of our kickabout intitiative we are looking for volunteer coaches to join the team. Kickabout is a fun environment where players can come to take first steps in to football, play social football, or stay active while waiting for a space in a team.

We are looking to add to our pool of volunteer coaches to ensure the intiative remains sustainable.

Who can get into coaching?

The opportunity is open to anyone! That could be parents, grandparents, carers, and also current players of all ages looking to gain experience.

Why get in to coaching?

its incredibly rewarding, hard to describe but facilitating the highlight of the week for kids is amazing.
its a great personal development opportunity. It can build confidence, communication skills, and of course knowledge of the game
with kickabout in particular its a fantastic way to give back to our local community
take first steps on the journey to completing coaching qualifications

What do i need to do?

Safeguarding is our priority so step one is to gain a valid DBS certificate, and to take a short online safeguarding children course provided the the FA.
As a club we will support any volunteer coach with funding of courses etc.
Be available on either: Monday 7-8pm, Wednesday 6-7pm, Thursday 6-7pm (just one is great!)
Be focused on creating a fun, positive environment for players!
